Welcome Sharon L. Clemens and "Prophecy Chat"

It is my pleasure to announce Sharon L. Clemens will be sharing her weekly e-news letter "Prophecy Chat" with us here at Eye on the Sky. I have known Sharon for over four years and in that time she has proven over and over to be a true friend in Christ. Her strong faith in God, clear discernment, talent as a writer and a teacher shows in her writing as well as her actions. I am sure all will enjoy her Prophecy Chats going forward.

Please join me in Welcoming, Sharon L. Clemens

Sharon L. Clemens and her husband, Merle, reside in Central Illinois and are members of Grace Church in Morton, Illinois, [an FEC church, The Fellowship of Evangelical Churches]. For over twenty-five years, Sharon has taught adult Christian education at Grace Church on a variety of scripture topics and books of the Bible. She has conducted non-denominational Bible studies in her home for over thirty years. Sharon received Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of twenty-three. Both she and her husband were accepted into membership at Grace Church in 1983. [Ephesians 2:8]

Sharon believes the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God, God’s revealed truth for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, which is able to thoroughly equip the Saints for service [2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 14:6]. Mrs. Clemens specializes in teaching and commentary on the prophetic Word with a concentration on Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled. Regarding eschatology [the study of future things], she is premillennial and dispensational. Regarding the Rapture of the Church, Sharon believes the evidence of scripture points to Christ’s return in the clouds for the Church before the Tribulation [pre-trib]. [1 Thessalonians 1:10—“…and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.”]

Sharon and husband Merle and their children owned and operated the Farm Grove Shops and Restaurant for thirteen years in Central Illinois and now live in their one hundred year old restored barn with their home-based collectable shop in the lower level.

Sharon appears monthly as a special feature guest on Channel 25’s “News at Noon, ” [NBC affiliate] as a craft artist. She speaks professionally on Christian topics for faith-based groups and churches and presents programs on cottage lifestyle for secular groups and organizations.

She is the author of a series of Christian novels set in Door County, Wisconsin, and also writes a weekly e-newsletter called “Prophecy Chat,” a commentary on current events as they pertain to Bible prophecy. She also publishes a weekly e-newsletter for their business, Farm Grove Collectables, called “Cottage Chat.” Either newsletter is available, without charge, by contacting Sharon by e-mail at: farmgrove@verizon.net

Mrs. Clemens also posts to a Blog/Web Site, “Seasons of Farm Grove,” at:

She and Merle have been married thirty-six years and are the parents of two grown children and one cat. Misty, the cat, still lives at home.
