End Of The World, "Propaganda Coming"
by Sharon L. Clemens

This fall, Hollywood is glutting the entertainment industry with several apocalyptic movies and TV programs. All of these depictions of the end times by secular media are sure to be based on vague, misleading, or occult sources of "truth." They will claim to be "prophetic" because of predictions from such occult sources as the Mayan calendar or the false prophet, Nostradamus. Many false sources claim that the end of the world is coming in 2012...unless. Unless man does something to stop it.

What should be the Christian response? This is our opportunity to confront Satan's DISINFORMATION campaign with an INFORMATION campaign. We must tell all who ask that the only truth is found in the Bible. All else is deception. Deception may contain a morsel of truth--just enough to heighten interest--but the conclusions are always false. They will PREACH that man must "save the world" through environmental solutions, or by finding a world leader who can guide the world to peace and safety. Such lies will only lead to Antichrist and his false one-world kingdom [Revelation 13].

Fear is a strong motivator. As believers, we are responsible to KNOW THE TRUTH and to TELL THE TRUTH. If you do not have a clear understanding of the prophecies in the Bible yet to be fulfilled that will surround the return of Jesus Christ to establish the true Kingdom on earth, then find an expository, literal study of The Revelation and other prophetic books such as Daniel and Zachariah. Study Matthew chapter 24, which is our Lord's sermon on the end times and His return to judge and reign. We can use this fear campaign to bring those with an ear to hear and an eye to see into the true Kingdom, not the false one.

Beginning yet this fall, Prophecy Chat will begin an extensive study of the yet unfulfilled prophecies of the Bible--the end times prophecies. The working title is "When The Lamb Stands" taken from Revelation chapter 5. The foundation of the study is the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ but will also include all the prophecies written to feed into the framework of the Lord's last chapter of the Word. Portions of Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zachariah, Joel, and passages from the gospels and New Testament will also be included to provide a comprehensive look at what the Bible says about the end times and the glorification of Christ Jesus. The entire Bible--literally the entire plan of God for the ages--CULMINATES IN THE LAST BOOK OF THE BIBLE, THE REVELATION, The Revealing of Jesus Christ. This group of articles has also been invited to be posted in the blog Eye On The Sky, managed by a brother in Christ, Phil Branch.

Satan seeks to lure the lost through fear and false hope. He will attempt to create so much disinformation, misinformation, and propaganda that it will either de-sensitize man to what is coming, or cause him to grasp human solutions out of fear instead of turning to the hope and comfort of deliverance offered by the one true God [Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 2:13]. Recall that Daniel was told his time was not yet "the" time of the end...but when the time is upon us:

"...none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand." [Daniel 12:10] Who are the wise? Those who study the Word of God and follow the LORD. "Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling." [Psalm 2:10-11]

We have all been called to live "in such a time as this." Be prepared. Know the truth. Satan obviously senses that the Lord's return is drawing near or he would not be trying so hard to throw everyone off the track of truth. We cannot stand back and allow him to deceive with impunity! Below is an article by Joel Rosenberg summarizing the Middle East situation. We cannot afford, in this day, not to understand the times in which we live.

In Him We Wait, Work, and Watch,
[Luke 12:35-59]

Apocalyptic Storm Forming in the Middle East
By Joel Rosenberg

Events are moving so quickly in the epicenter it can be difficult to keep track of, much less understand the big picture. So here it is in a sentence: An apocalyptic storm is forming over the Middle East.
