We relocated to Hondo, TX from Indiana in May 2008 and we started our business in November 2009 at the urging of Ken Chamblee of Cowboy Basics Saddlery. After doing a mass mailing to local horse owners, The Blanket Works was born. So far there's been no job too small or too large. Horse Blanket Laundry & Repair, Plus Custom Sewing. Anything from replacing zippers in jackets, hemming jeans, most alterations. We custom made the tarp that covers the hoses on the back of the Hondo Volunteer Fire Department. We have also recovered seats on 4-wheelers, custom make chaps and drapes. There really isn't anything we don't do!
Some of our prominent clients are the Medina County Prison System, Sorella's Clothing Store and many individuals in the local area. Probably one of our most well-known repairs is the inflatable mat under the mechanical bull owned by Tejas Rodeo Company, managed by Yancey James.
